Adelaide Fringe favourite Matt Tarrant returns to Adelaide Fringe to build on his award-winning brand of world-class magic and mind-blowing mentalism with his biggest show to date, Happy.
Debuting first to Adelaide audiences from 19th February-21st of March at Gluttony, Happy has been specifically developed by Matt to provide crowds with escapism from what has been a challenging time for many.
Happy will present Matt’s crowd favourite signature brand of mentalism, magic and wonder coupled with some brand-new innovations and collaborations that will leave you speechless and begging for more.
Matt, who hasn’t performed live on stage since Adelaide Fringe 2020 is both excited and anxious to perform for his hometown audience once again.
“The last year has reminded me how fortunate I am to do what I love for a living, and how happy I am up on stage performing for audiences; this is my chance to give back and pass that happiness to my audience,” Matt says.
Specific show details are under lock and key at present, but the show is packed full of surprises and promises a new age style of collaboration with other magicians who are unable to physically attend the Adelaide Fringe.
Happy will also see a special guest appearance and offer a routine that has been seven years in the making, marking ten years of sell-out success at Adelaide Fringe for the internationally acclaimed entertainer.
Adelaide Fringe Director and CEO Heather Croall says Matt has been an integral part of the festival for many years.
“It is great to have a local award-winning talent returning to Adelaide Fringe 2021! After seven years of winning awards, we are thrilled that Matt Tarrant is bringing another show back,” Heather says.
Don’t miss the opportunity to catch one of the most highly sought-after magicians in Australia and escape your mind this Fringe season.
