MUMS RECOMMEND PAPAW WHEN YOURE SORE SORE

Close to 13 million Australians (66%), look to their mum for advice on healthcare and parenting, a new research report has revealed.

The Lucas’ Papaw Remedies’ Recommended by Mum Report report also found that 60% of Australians are likely to go to their Mum for tips, tricks, and recommendations when it comes to the healing and relief of skin irritations or conditions, suggesting Mum is a top go-to source of advice.

Family owned and operated Australian therapeutics brand, Lucas’ Papaw Remedies recently commissioned research that highlights the power of generational influence and usage when it comes to skin healing remedies.

The national survey also found:

  • Over half of Australians (51%) are more likely to trust products that played a key role in their childhood and were used on them by their own mums.
  • 39% of Australian medicine cabinets contain the same trusted staples their mum had in theirs, highlighting mum as a key influencer when it comes to healthcare products found in the home.
  • Four in ten (40%), the equivalent of 5.3 million individuals, say they are more likely to trust healthcare products recommended to them by their mum
