ROLL INTO THE WEEKEND WITH THE DERBY

This weekend at Adelaide Showground the Wild Hearses face-off with Mile Die Club for their spot in the Adelaide Roller Derby grand final.

Both teams are set to fight with grit for their next win on the leaderboard, with the grand final coming up on July 31.

As always, Lil’ Commie Bastards will be the quick-witted MCs for the night and there will be a Local Makers Market full of stalls of locally made creations.

The bar will be open so bring a chair, blankets or cushion to sit on. Hot food and drinks will be available to purchase.

Adelaide Roller Derby was established in 2007 and is Adelaide’s oldest and largest roller derby league. Comprised of approximately 110 members, the league has four home teams, three travel teams, and an amazing team of officials.

The league is a not-for-profit organisation that is owned and operated by members, for members. Roller Derby is a full contact sport. The sport operates on a DIY ethos – the skaters do everything from training plans, to event management and merchandising.

Roller Derby across the world is empowering individuals, building community and creating positive change.
