Adelaide Fringe Review: Gabbi Bolt – Odd Sock, Gluttony 2023

Gabbi Bolt has a stunning voice, she’s a talented pianist and she is funny as f*ck.

Odd Sock promised an hour of original musical comedy, stand-up and storytelling, and it delivers in spades.

Covering such topics as anxiety, working in retail, benders in your 20s and Andrew Garfield through some very catchy tunes, Gabbi’s disarming charm, and clever use of audio visuals is engaging, endearing and captivating.

Winner of the Best Newcomer award at the 2022 Sydney Comedy Festival, Gabbi is a star on the rise and, as well as being a TikTok sensation, has been seen on The Chaser, A Rational Fear, and Spicks & Specks, so you don’t have to just take my word for it when I say she’s good.

This show is outstanding.

Odd Sock is well-written, smart, hilarious, unpredictable and a wild ride through Gabbi’s stream of consciousness.

See it. You won’t regret it.

Odd Sock is playing at The Lark in Gluttony until March 5. Grab your tickets HERE
