If you haven’t seen The Choir Of Man’s show yet, make the effort to grab a ticket whilst you can. It is a show that you will find hard to beat for value, energy, and the sheer joy of that is encapsulated in the performance.

With such an impressive catalogue of well-loved songs, it’s probably time we had a Nick Cave tribute show. Doing justice to this legendary material, however, is no easy task. Thankfully, local group, the Dark Seeds are up to the task.
Fowler & Finn: A Tribute to Crowded House – The obviously talented Fowler Sisters have one more show to play during this year’s Fringe, and now, given an extra, distraction-free week to get the songs into better shape, there is every chance their next show will be much more successful than this one.
The Lost & Found Orchestra – being immersed and mesmerised, for one and a half glorious hours, by this terrific piece of innovative musical performance art was an experience to be savoured and never be forgotten.
Soweto Gospel Choir Infuse their songs with synchronised percussion, dance, and some occasional comic pratfalls, and the energy of this show is impossible to resist.
There’s never a dull moment at one of Hans’ shows and this one is no exception: 22 Aussie classics in an all singing, all dancing, glitter coated hour of fun.
Deborah Brennan’s The Hummingbird Effect is built around a monologue that details how a seemingly random experience can trigger an evolution in the way we perceive our own lives. A brave but sometimes uncomfortable performance.
I would highly recommend that people who have not caught this tribute to Simon & Garfunkel as yet should make sure that they do so at some point…but in this venue there are some issues that work against these talented performers.
The Amy Winehouse Show at The Spiegeltent in The Garden Of Unearthly Delights – was ‘merely a ‘polite’ performance, lacking in passion and power’.
