Larry Dean is a top-rung comedian whose latest show ‘Fudnut’ provides a master-class in comedy. It’s an hour filled with belly laughs and poignant reflections on life in a single man’s world.

A Bookish Comedy Show – it won’t have its own page in any future chapter on the Adelaide Fringe’s greatest comedy shows ever, but it does have a couple memorable lines that may make the footnotes!
As a showcase for comedians who have solo shows at the Fringe this is a good cheap way to get a brief sample of their comic wares before deciding if a full show of their form of comedy is likely to strike a blow to your funny bone.

Dan Willis’ comedy show is fast-paced and he covers a lot of elements of Australian life along the way. It delivers a polished, rather gentle and polite, non-intimidating form of comedy – and that is not a bad thing at all.
Steve Martin & Martin Short’s show Now You See Them, Soon You Won’t will be coming to Australia later this year. The good news is that the tour will include a performance at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Monday November 11!
The Late Bloomers’ Adelaide Fringe show, Scotland! is impressionistic, surrealistic, non-linear and told mostly in mime and sound effects, yet by the end of it you will be glad you made the journey.
Unassumingly acerbic, Brady’s conversational comedy style had the crowd hanging on every word.
Stephen Buchanan is a fine comedy craftsman and, should he choose to continue to ply his trade, there seems no doubt that he will be playing in much larger venues at future festivals. His Fringe show – Purpleberry – is a lot of fun.
