In the crawl you didn’t realise South Australia was missing, Punk Crawl will see music lovers venture to three iconic West End venues as part of Umbrella: Winter City Sounds.
Stopping for a drink and dance to a live band at each watering hole, this curated mini-festival was created to highlight the often-underrated pub scene and provide punters with a unique and new way of experiencing live music.
“Punk Crawl is for people who are genuine lovers of live music. I want to keep the root of passion for music, not just people who want to have a piss-up, but the ones who actually love the band,” Punk Crawl organiser Hannah Louise says.
Meeting at the City of Music Mural, the crawl will then stomp up the West End streets and end up at Crybaby Fest for headliners, Melbourne alternative rock band, Kingswood.
And if that doesn’t make you want to celebrate the organised anarchy of Punk Crawl, ticketholders will go into a draw to win an after show hang out with Kingswood.
Punk Crawl is essentially a month’s worth of great Saturday nights at the pub watching live music rolled into a single event.
“In Adelaide, because it’s such a small music scene you’ve often got three of your favourite bands playing at different venues on the same night and choosing which one you want to go to can be difficult. So this is for those music lovers, and also for people willing to try something new to support the Adelaide live music scene,” said Hannah.
The Punk Crawl will be held on the 20th of July, beginning at 7:00pm. Tickets are limited so grab yours HERE.
