Magill author R Max Tillsley is set to launch his debut children’s novel The Steele Trap this weekend at Hutt Street creative co-working space Vault 134.
SeaStar Rock is a South Australian TV series on Channel 44 starring singing and dancing characters that provide children with information about the sustainability of our oceans. With this being a timely topic, the program has found itself a hit amongst many households and is also a live, touring show which is playing as part of Umbrella: Winter City Sounds.
The much-loved festival also generated a record $95.1 million in gross economic expenditure for South Australia, including $36.6 million in visitor spending – up 24 per cent.
The striking poster design has been created by Adelaide-based multi-disciplinary artist Dave Court, who recently completed Adelaide’s largest street art mural in collaboration with Music SA.
Featuring all the characters from the popular TV series, SeaStar Rock will have kids singing, dancing and playing games as they navigate the sustainability of our oceans.
Stopping for a drink and dance to a live band at each watering hole, this curated mini-festival was created to highlight the often-underrated pub scene and provide punters with a unique and new way of experiencing live music.
Set to introduce a new generation to the dance culture of the 90s with a multi-media party for under 18s, Retro Rave is part of Umbrella: Winter City Sounds.
Between July 15 – 18, Adelaide producer Luke Million, plus a collection of Northern Sound System artists will set up shop in Rundle Mall in an immersive, musical installation.
