Oscillating between the ridiculous (you will have Natalie Imbruglia’s Torn running through your head for day) to the sublime (you will also never look at a keg of beer in the same way), the slapstick element of this frenetic performance does not detract from the sheer force of talent of this incredible crew.
Rebel is an enjoyable show – the pacing is good, the costumes are impressive, and the performance has plenty of heart.
Science Vs Magic is a fantastic children’s show, with each element crossing over and combining to make a well-executed 45 minutes of education, and, most importantly, fun.
Rouge is a sexy, operatic (and acrobatic) cabaret that is filled with affection. The performances (and the performers) are big, bold and demanding of your attention and I believe it’s entirely warranted. Special mention to Opera Singer Isabel Hertaeg for her otherworldly performance!
The hour-long show passes all too quickly because this highly skilled thaumaturge entrances you right from his very first warm-up trick to the very last moment. Charlie Caper – Magical is a magnificent experience!
inishing with international classic such as Hallelujah and James Brown’s I Feel Good; the only thing that remains consistent throughout the show is the pride, and jubilant smiles on all choir members faces. This show is for them first and foremost, and a special gift for the lucky spectators witnessing something very unique.
Dom Chambers: Fake Wizard is most definitely a standout show from a standout performer, one who doesn’t take himself too seriously but delivers an amazing array of knockout magic
Two Brunettes and A Gay: Bottoms Up! Is ‘good night out’ kind of show where one can get all their friends together, get boozy and sing (poorly) along to some well-worn favourites with just a dash of sentimentality in the mix
The Black Blues Brothers is a family friendly show, which redefines the usual circus production approach and provides an hour of jaw dropping physicality that is sure to impress even the most experienced Fringe goer who think they have already seen it all!
